EPA Awards Tucker Highest SmartWay Score

Tucker Company Worldwide has earned the highest allowable score in the U.S. EPA’s SmartWay program – a 1.25.

According to the U.S. EPA’s SmartWay program, a score of 1.25 represents outstanding environmental performance. These Partners already are utilizing most of the commercially available fuel saving strategies and are actively evaluating the latest emerging technologies. Partners with scores of 1.25 are awarded the honor of displaying the SmartWay Transport Partner logo, EPA’s symbol for
superior fuel efficiency and environmental performance.

Today, Tucker awards more than 70% of our customers’ freight to SmartWay carriers. Shippers who use Tucker in more than 50% of their business, may be eligible for SmartWay partnership. Please contact your Tucker sales representative for more information.
